About Us
Yate hockey club is a vibrant and inclusive place to socialise, be part of a community and hockey family and somewhere to get fit and have fun whatever your ability level. Our members are from all walks of life and love hockey, we're friendly, welcoming and enjoy seeing new players having fun whilst playing hockey.
Hockey is proud to be a team sport with equal participation in terms of gender and our mix of Ladies, Mens and Junior hockey allows us to participate in a wide range of England Hockey competitions and leagues including EH Mixed Hockey League.
Where are we?
Yate Hockey Club is based at Yate Outdoor Sports Complex (YOSC) behind Brimsham Green School. A fabulous facility in the heart of Yate, South Gloucestershire and has it’s own pitch, with changing facilities, and club house (inc Bar & Cafe) within the confines of the facility.

Annual Subscriptions/Membership fees
Adults: £124 (£144 if paid after 30th September)
13+ Junior/Full Time Students: £99 (£124 if paid after 30th September)
Junior (U-8): £100
Junior (8+): £125
13+ Juniors are classed as those that train with senior teams and play matches in the Badgers/Adult teams but are under 18.
If you are a Junior and you train with both the Juniors and the Seniors, there is an extra £50 cost payable to the junior section which covers junior training and matches
Match Fees
Mens: £10 per Adult, £5 full time student/unemployed paid on match day
Ladies: £250 upfront at the start of the season OR standing orders of five payments of £50
13+ Juniors (Badgers): £5 per match
13+ Juniors (Development Team): £7.50 per match
