Yate entertained UWE, hoping to make amends for the 5-1 defeat that they suffered at their hands earlier in the season.

UWE were again strong, dominating the midfield and collecting their chances with some very good finishing..  The form that had for so long been good at home seemed to desert them. This allowed UWE to build up a lead of 5-0 leaving Yate struggling.

As has been so often the case this season Yate did cause problems when they pressured, but hadn’t been able to put their chances away with the same verve as the students. 

Yate came to life towards the end of the match and managed to get 2 backs through when man of the match Harry Eddolls stepped up scoring first a drag flick low and to the right and then collecting a rebound from his own shot from another short corner and putting the ball neatly a way.

Hopefully Yate can put the scoreline behind them and improve for the 2 games next week.
